adopt a giraffe
Support Education, Habitat Protection, and Giraffe Care
By Joining the Journey and adopting one of our four resident giraffes you become a key player in a movement that safeguards giraffe habitats in northern Tanzania and helps us continue our work in conservation education amongst school children.
Our symbolic adoption programme makes a fantastic gift as well as helping us raise much needed funds.
Our adoption costs $100/ year.
What will you get with your adoption?
By adopting, you are not only helping giraffes, you are contributing to a regenerative future for wildlife and communities in Tanzania.
Who would you like to adopt?

Valerie
The oldest and palest of the four giraffe. Although she is wary, she is also the clown of the group and can often be seeing playing her tongue and peering out from behind trees.

Eliana
Eliana is our darkest giraffe. She arrived at the centre with a very badly damaged left eye that we initially didn’t think was going to heal. It has healed, but she has limited sight through it, leaving her as a target for poachers.

Edward
Our trusty male giraffe. He arrived from the Mwaskini corridor as a youngster and is now approaching maturity with incredible size and grace.

Lottie
Our little head strong giraffe was found in an incredibly arid area lagging behind her herd. After several days of observation she was brought to our sanctuary where she fit right in and had the other giraffe trying to keep up with her as she browsed her way through the bush.
