Welcome to our straw-bale eco cottage, nestled in over 100 acres of acacia woodland at the Arusha Giraffe Centre.
Imagine waking to the sounds of the African bush as giraffe wander past your cottage garden. Our little straw-bale cottage sits in the middle of the acacia woodland that makes up the Arusha Giraffe Centre.
The cottage has two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and dining area, and a spacious verandah over looking a plunge pool with views to the Monduli Mountains and beyond. We are a haven for many species of birds and the garden is a constant cacophony of bird chatter. You’re welcome to explore the grounds at your own pace.
Just 45 minutes from Arusha on the road to Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks, the cottage offers a beautiful balance of wilderness and accessibility.

Accommodation Details
Master Bedroom
A comfortable double bed with mosquito net, featuring an en-suite bath and toilet in an open-plan design that connects you with the space.
Second Bedroom
Two single beds (we’re happy to arrange them as a double if you prefer), each with mosquito net, plus en-suite toilet and shower in an open-plan layout.
Living Spaces
Our open-plan kitchen looks out to Mt. Meru and comes fully equipped with everything you need: cooker, basin, and mini fridge. The spacious verandah is perfect for relaxing or dining, and the garden plunge pool offers refreshing dips with breathtaking mountain views.
